Unicorn Derby spawned from Square Cat Vinyl‘s 2nd Annual Random Band Challenge. We were drawn out of a hat together in January 2017. We met, hung out, created music & liked each other. That chemistry helped us win the vote of the audience & judges of the experiment, in March 2017.
This E.P. is dedicated to all the other ‘random bands’ we met along the journey: The 1923, The Ocho, Wolf and The Wereboys, Papa Warfleigh’s Funk Revival, Time Travel Bucket List, The Caped Canaverals, Fever Flush, Divided House Band, The Hipcoustic Movement & Band #9.
